Delicate programmatic challenges were successfully met during the renovation of this 1970s, Lake Shore Drive condominium building. Among them: a limited budget and a need to elevate quality of design and construction to meet expectations associated with Lake Shore Drive living. SH Studio partnered with the building’s Board to develop a program appropriate for current building functions, as well as plan for the demographics and needs of future unit owners – all while developing a keen understanding of the process for gaining consensus among unit owners.
