A multi-phase renovation transformed a gracious, 1930s North Shore home into a youthfully spirited hub of lively, family-friendly activity and togetherness. Gathering spaces abound, from a crowd-fitting kitchen banquette in the all-new kitchen and family room addition to a poolside dining, relaxing, and entertaining area. Architectural enhancements included huge expanses of sunlight-flooding windows and elegant yet clean-lined millwork, while design decisions centered on comfortable, sink-in furnishings amidst a gallery-like background of white to showcase an exuberant collection of art. Best of all: plenty of welcoming spaces for four kids and their friends to make this home everyone’s favorite place to be.
Custom furnishings include SHIIR rugs in the living and dining rooms; the entry hall bench and table; dining room sideboard; and primary suite bed, all designed by Soucie Horner.
