Get Together in Style

We recently hosted an intimate gathering of members of the press (think Architectural Digest, Travel and Leisure, Domino, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Fortune, and Out Traveler to name a few) as they enjoyed our luxurious inn – and an action-packed schedule of warm-weather activities. From sand dune hikes and sunset sails to locally-sourced, farm-to-table breakfasts prepared by our Executive Chef Rose Duong (who previously catered the green room of the Oprah Winfrey Show and ran her own Kingsbury Street Café), their Saugatuck stay showcased the best of our charming locale. Connecting Around the Table

We’re all about creating community and forging connection with fellow Saugatuck business owners. And the best way we know to do that is over an excellent meal (created by our own Chef Rose, of course!) with plenty of lively conversation on the menu. That’s why we recently brought Soucie Horner’s tradition of hosting “Salon Dinners” to the Wickwood Inn. Our second Salon Dinner of the year, it was such an inspiring evening it turned out to be the catalyst for a forthcoming series, with planning for the next Salon Dinner – to be hosted by The Cottage at Wick’s – already underway. We can think of no better way to garner ideas for sharing the best of our beloved Saugatuck with visitors old and new than by breaking bread together.

At Your Service

Meet Susan Michele, our new General Manager. Experienced, enthusiastic, and eager to make your stay special, Susan presides over the Wickwood guest experience with uncommon attention to detail. Whether ensuring Champagne and roses await your arrival; reserving a table for you at one of our favorite eateries; or suggesting a weekend itinerary customized to your particular interests, Susan will make it happen with a warm welcome and her trademark grace.

Wickwood Earns TripAdvisor Award!

Have you heard the news? Wickwood Inn just won a TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Award – a prestigious honor granted to fewer than 10% of lodging properties in the world. We’re proud to be in such stellar company – and invite you to stay with us to experience the many reasons why.

More Acclaim for Wickwood Inn

We are honored to be featured in Domino Magazine’s Wish You Were Here series spotlighting design-driven destinations across the world. The Wickwood’s commitment to quiet luxury and gracious hospitality paired with our charming Saugatuck locale have earned us a spot on the list—and a comparison to Gilmore Girls’ iconic small-town setting.

Worldly Impressions

Avid travelers who are continually inspired by cultures around the globe, Shea and Martin’s work is often informed by their experiences abroad. From art and history to language, food, music, and architecture, the world is their muse. Read about their latest trips to Cuba and India to learn more.

Designing for a Good Cause

Once again, Soucie Horner participated in Naples Tables to benefit children and families living in Florida’s Collier and Lee counties. This annual event aids communities near our Naples office, and demonstrates our unwavering commitment to supporting the geographic areas in which we work. As our Naples client roster continues to grow, so does our participation in addressing its needs.

An avid hiker and camper, Samantha’s work often references both her love of the outdoors and her affinity for antiques. “My dream is to restore an early 1900’s Edwardian home,” she says. “Because I believe your surroundings should influence your design choices, it would pull colors, materials, and textures from nature and its setting.” Her other dream? “To be a florist. But I have a completely brown thumb!”
