We agree with MLive Food Critic, George Aquino. Bowdies is THE Grand Rapids area restaurant you should visit in 2016. Better yet, it’s right in downtown Saugatuck! The inside is both cozy and lively. Weather permitting, the restaurant nearly doubles inside with its outdoor deck and porch. Start with the Pan Seared Scallops or the Shrimp Cocktail, but do not skip the Truffle Fries. The Cowboy Ribeye is a steak to remember\u00a0and the Roasted Half Chicken pleases every time. Make sure you have a reservation, as this place fills up quickly. Didn’t plan ahead? No worries. Try one of our other fantastic Saugatuck restaurants: Phil’s, Grow, Pumpernickel’s, Hercules, or The Southerner … just to name a few.<\/p>\n

Chantal\u2019s collection of boutiques feature great labels for both men and women\u2019s apparel. The assortment of vintage and retro collectables at Swell Times may make you giggle. Try Amaru Leather for a beautifully handcrafted leather accessory. VolMod for a custom pottery plate or vase. Don\u2019t miss James Brandess Studios & Gallery.
