About Good Goods<\/h3>\n

Randolph began Good Goods in 1989 as a small one-room shop in an historic Italianate building once used as a rooming house.\u00a0 Today, after years of work and restoration, Good Goods occupies the entire building plus a lovely garden area, conveniently in downtown Saugatuck.<\/p>\n

Randolph states, \u201cWhen I opened Good Goods I had a strong vision of what I wanted it to be. Handmade products have the love, care, and skill of the artist within them.\u00a0 Our name Good Goods reflects a thought of Charles Eames:\u00a0that there are some goods that have a special quality \u2013 a quality that you feel when you touch them, see them, live with them.\u00a0 You may pay a little more to begin with but you can spend a lifetime with them. It is a joy to be surrounded everyday by beautiful objects that have such a lasting design quality.\u201d<\/p>\n

The collection of ceramics, fine art, furniture, glass, gifts, jewelry, sculpture, and wearables will delight and impress. Some serious, some whimsical \u2026 all special.<\/p>\n

All this goodness is an easy 5 minute walk through downtown Saugatuck from Wickwood Inn. Of course, we wouldn\u2019t blame you if needed to make a stop at Charlie\u2019s for an ice cream cone, at Uncommon Grounds for that cup of coffee, or at Mitten for a pint of beer along the way. All that and more are available en route.<\/p>\n
