The Annual Fall Gallery Stroll in Douglas is the other half of our exciting fall art event.\u00a0 Across the Kalamazoo in the neighboring towns of Douglas and beyond, galleries open their doors.\u00a0 We feature J. Petters Galleries, Waterstreet Gallery, and Button Gallery. But, all the galleries we list below offer unique art in creative settings.\u00a0 This is a beautiful event.\u00a0 So, reserve your room soon.\u00a0 That way you can join fellow art lovers at the Wickwood Inn<\/a> for a weekend celebrating beauty in all its forms.<\/p>\n The J Petters Gallery<\/a> features artists for this year’s Fall Gallery Stroll who embrace the theme, Spatlese.\u00a0 It comes from the old German word, meaning Late Harvest. But in today’s wine world, spatlese means something different.\u00a0 It refers to ripe grapes that are long on the vine, but not always sweet as you may expect.\u00a0 The artists featured this year exhibit this ideology in their work.\u00a0 They include:<\/p>\n The opening reception at the gallery will take place on Saturday, October 12th <\/sup>from 6-8pm.\u00a0 First, they set the mood with live jazz by Jay Bertalan & Richard Beelen. Then throughout the evening, guests enjoy light refreshments and art demos.\u00a0 And it goes without saying, experience ‘Spatlese’ in their Petter Wine Gallery wine bar.<\/p>\n Finishing Touch,<\/em>\u00a0at the Waterstreet Gallery<\/a> exhibits during the Annual Fall Gallery Stroll.\u00a0 It features the works of all artists in many genres, including paintings, glass, sculpture and mixed media.<\/p>\n The Button Gallery<\/a> renews focus on the works of its resident fine artists.\u00a0 Their promise is a \u201csalon style\u201d exhibit that best shows off their art and sculpture for the annual October art event.<\/p>\n Don’t miss any of the fine art in Saugatuck.\u00a0 Continue your weekend of art and inspiration with a stay at the Wickwood Inn.
