Don’t miss the main exhibit, Easel On Down The Road<\/a><\/em>, featuring local artist Anne Corlett’s collection of paintings from each of the 50 states! This project spanned over 3 years and 29,604\u00a0miles. Your eyes will delight during\u00a0this majestic tour of the United States.<\/p>\n Celebrating 45 years of excellence, The Hope Summer Repertory Theatre<\/a> (HSRT) is West Michigan\u2019s premier professional theater\u00a0company. The company is a unique blend of distinguished\u00a0professionals and young theater\u00a0artists from all over the United States, and it’s just minutes away from downtown Saugatuck.<\/p>\n For live music, theater, homemade food, hard cider, and\u00a0amazing orchards … try Crane’s Pie Pantry and Winery<\/a>. We’re particularly excited about the Bourbon Cider Release Party<\/em> on Saturday, August 6 and the Saugatuck Civic Theater’s Performance of Hair<\/em>\u00a0on Friday, August 19 and Saturday, August 20!<\/p>\n If it’s vineyards, wine tasting, and live music you’re after, Fenn Valley Vineyards & Wine Cellar<\/a> is the place! Whether you take in their Wine & Food Festival, Music In The Vineyards, Summer Evening Cookout, or their Vineyard Tour,\u00a0this idyllic spot will not disappoint.<\/p>\n Not to be missed are the Artist Openings, Exhibitions and Wine Tastings at J. Petter Galleries<\/a>. Of course, you can peruse their art and their sculpture garden any time … and you’ll certainly want to taste whatever is\u00a0being poured in the wine bar. The retail selection of wines is carefully chosen and very well crafted.<\/p>\n Put on your dancing shoes, or kick off your shoes and go barefoot, for Music In The Park<\/em>.\u00a0Now in its 12th season, Music in the Park<\/em> features popular bands playing in Wicks Park Gazebo in downtown Saugatuck. All\u00a0are welcome to picnic and dance in this family friendly atmosphere. Concerts are Wednesday nights, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., and admission is free.<\/p>\n For free music and dancing on Thursday nights, The Felt Estate\u00a0Concert Series<\/a><\/em> takes place\u00a0at The Carriage House Stage. Food and beverages are available for purchase on site for your enjoyment.<\/p>\n The Chamber Music Festival brings together\u00a0classical & contemporary music performed by the finest regional musicians. Concerts are at the Woman’s Club and scheduling information can be found here.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n Of course, there’s also live music happening all over town: Coral Gables<\/a>, Red Dock, The Butler Deck<\/a>, The What Not Inn<\/a>, Salt Of The Earth<\/a>, and The Saugatuck Brewing Company<\/a> just to name a few local hotspots.<\/p>\n And we have yet to mention some of our favorite summer special events<\/strong>: The Waterfront Invitational Art Fair<\/a>, 4th of July Parade & Fireworks,\u00a0Venetian Festival<\/a>\u00a0(complete with a nighttime boat parade followed by fireworks!),\u00a0and the Village Square Arts & Fine Crafts Fair<\/a>\u00a0… oh my!<\/p>\n
