Housed in an historic building at 238 Butler Street, James Brandess, a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, paints local Saugatuck scenes from his working studio and gallery.  James creates original oils, watercolors, pastels, postcards and cards.  He also accepts commissions for portraits and landscapes.

Also on Butler Street at number 240, the Jeff Blandford Gallery features the work of this local ceramic artist. See everything from whimsical and colorful animal heads, to unique ceramic furniture.  Jeff is also known for his gorgeous bowls, vases, mugs and plates made in his studio on his nearby farm.  More than just a feast for the eyes, a visit to this gallery is an inspiration.
