Grab a pint and immerse yourself in the power and motion of Theresa Gray’s paintings at Waypost Brewing. Enjoy wine while you shop at Holly Days at Everyday People Cafe in December. Be SURE and collect a few jars of Dona’s famous homemade hot honey mustard, Mikey’s hot sauce and curry noodles. Enjoy Jessica’s fanciful wirework and handmade jewelry. Do not miss Sue’s upcycled cashmere accessories.  These ponchos, scarves, wristers, hats, leg warmers and more are the best! Of course, your holiday getaway is not complete without the cheer of live music and theater. This year, our own Lakeshore Community Chorus features holiday music from around the world. Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol is live at the Women’s Club. Frederick Meijer Gardens in nearby Grand Rapids hosts the Original Dickens Carolers and a Christmas Cabaret. Of course, there’s live music all around the Saugatuck area: Saugatuck Brewing, Little Lucy’s, Salt Of The Earth just to name a few. See Harry Connick Jr., The Nutcracker, or Sesame Street Live at the DeVos Performance Hall in Grand Rapids. Watch Rear Window, The Shop Around the Corner, or It’s A Wonderful Life at the Knickerbocker Theater in Holland.

Stay Fit During Your Holiday Getaway

Your holiday getaway isn’t complete without a delicious cozy Loft Dinner at Borrowed Time. Grab a glass of joy at the Noveau Fest or Sip & Shop at Fenn Valley. Sit by one of many roaring bonfires and sip a pint of European style cider at Virtue.  And don’t miss their Holiday Buzz Market on December 1.
