Taste of Saugatuck Plus Saugatuck Restaurant Week at Saugatuck Expo

We know that you adore food like we do at Wickwood Inn. Join us during the first week of the Saugatuck Expo and taste the delicious Saugatuck food scene during The Culinary Arts week from June 1-8. Local restaurants feature new summer menu items at Taste Of EATDRINK SDF on June 1st from 1-4pm in Wick’s Park. Enjoy live entertainment and a blind taste competition for only $5 (includes 2 food tickets). Plus, from June 2 through June 9, see our food community caters to foodies during Saugatuck Restaurant Week.  During your stay with us at Wickwood, pop into many of the local restaurants as our top chefs deliver special menus during the community-wide showcase! Saugatuck Fine Arts Week at Saugatuck Expo

Our area hugely supports the arts, so join us June 8-14 for the week of The Fine Arts In Saugatuck. Many hard-working artists reside in our community, and we celebrate their artwork. Join us at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts for a kick-off event on the evening of June 7 with food trucks, live entertainment, and the SCA’s summer exhibition opening! Then on June 8, don’t miss the annual Saugatuck Summer Gallery Stroll Plus Art on Center in nearby Douglas.  Stroll through our many art galleries while enjoying live music and refreshments. Do you wonder what else to do while you’re in town to feed the art enthusiast in you? Don’t worry, we have a whole day of art-filled experiences and ideas for you!

 

Saugatuck Live Music Week at Saugatuck Expo

We all know that music and memories are a powerful thing, so visit us from June 14-21 and celebrate The Art of Music in Saugatuck. Many local restaurants, bars and organizations begin showcasing Saugatuck’s live summer music scene during this week devoted to the sounds of summer.  Some restaurants have music every weekend, like Borrowed Time and their Music On The Lawn.  The Saugatuck Center For The Arts brings us ticketed events for live music, sometimes with a big party included!  If walking out of Wickwood’s door to these sounds of summer is what you want, then Wick’s Park’s Music In The Park should be on your list.  Venues large and small, inside and outside are making great music this summer in Saugatuck.

 

Saugatuck Performing Arts Week at Saugatuck Expo

Saugatuck Expo’s month-long celebration’s final week showcases the beauty of theatre and performance.  Visit Saugatuck from June 21-27 and take in the lakeshore area’s Performing Arts. Get your tickets now for the production of “In the Heights” at Saugatuck Center for the Arts.  Enjoy a full weekend of relentless giggles at the Laughshore Comedy Festival. Plus, celebrate Dudleyville Vintage Baseball Festival for two days of fun, local history and more during this entertaining and hilarious week! To cap this exciting arts-filled month, pay homage to the great Shakespeare at The Art of Shakespeare from June 27-30.  Shakespeare Mini-Performances pop up on June 28, 29 and 30th in select places around town. And, Shakespeare in the Park takes place in Wick’s Park on the evening of June 29.
