Plan Now To Enjoy Restaurant Week In Saugatuck, Douglas & Fennville June 4-10, 2018

Saugatuck is really making a name for itself on the food scene.  It is especially on show during Restaurant Week.  Our restaurants have some of the best farm to fork fare in the state.  They utilize the delicious bounty of our gifted area farmers. Menus change nightly.  The chefs create innovative and delicious pairings. We must admit, it’s fun (and delicious!)  Watch us evolve into a foodie’s dream destination.

“ I was doing stand-up at a restaurant and there was a chalkboard on the street out front.  It said, ‘Soup of the Day: Cream of Asparagus. Ellen DeGeneres.’ ”

~  Ellen DeGeneres

The food options are abundant every day, but the grand prix of all this fare takes place from June 4 – 10th when many of the area’s dining destinations participate in Restaurant Week.  Special menus will delight all, with pricing at $10, $15 and $30 price levels. This is sure to be a seasonal bounty of goodness and we encourage people to take advantage of rare pricing and menus.  Don’t miss your opportunity to visit some of the finest dining establishments in Saugatuck, Douglas and Fennville.

Coordinator, Eat Drink SDF, has participating restaurants that include Borrowed Time, Clearbrook Grill Room, GROW, Crane’s Pie Pantry & Restaurant, Saugatuck Brewing Company, Salt of the Earth, The Southerner and Root on their delicious list of many.

This is a great time to plan a foodie getaway. Enjoy not just Saugatuck’s restaurant food, but also the delicious spring harvest treats we serve at Wickwood Inn, where guests always enjoy an exceptional food experience. (Owner Julee Rosso, was instrumental in bringing fresh, delicious food to New Yorkers when she opened the Silver Palate in the late 1970s and the five cookbooks she’s written since are still favorites for people.)

In addition to the Farm to Table breakfasts we serve guests, there offer fresh sweets and treats throughout the day. Our Evening Sips and Small Plates at 6 p.m. is the perfect way to unwind from a day of exploring or beginning a night of gastronomical delight. We believe our food offerings are a perfect addition to guests who want to come to town and enjoy restaurant week. Book now to avoid disappointment.

It’s said you are what you eat.  So plan on being healthy, delicious, unique and innovative and fun – just like the 2018 Restaurant Week in Saugatuck.
